The team at Foundation for Pops joined several organizations in volunteering at this year’s Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down at UAW Region 1 in Warren, MI. The purpose of this event is to provide veterans with resources and essentials to help them continue to navigate civilian life. Lunch was provided for those in attendance, as well as free haircuts (courtesy of Wahl), clothing, footwear, and more. Beyond material goods, resources provided included VA benefit assistance, housing and counseling service information, and more. Foundation for Pops was honored to take part in such an impactful event, and we look forward to assisting at next year’s Stand Down!
