Community Air & Water Quality Meeting- Taylor, MI

The Thriving Communities Program is hosting a meeting for Taylor residents to discuss local water and air quality.

Through the Thriving Communities Program, Foundation for Pops will be holding a meeting to discuss community air & water quality.

Why Water Quality Matters:

  • Contaminated drinking water can spread serious illnesses
  • Health risks include diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, and typhoid.
  • Knowing your water quality helps protect your family and improve community water sources.

Why Air Quality Matters:

  • Poor air quality affects people of all ages and health backgrounds
  • Linked to asthma, cancer, CPOD, heart disease, and hospitalization
  • Reducing exposure can improve long-term health & quality of life.

You will receive a water testing kit at this meeting to bring back for the following meeting on May 14th.
